River Transparencies — Watercolor Exhibition
From May 7 to May 11, 2026, the Pro Loco Crema in Crema hosted the exhibition "River Transparencies" by Florentina Panainte.
The exhibition featured a series of watercolor paintings distinguished by transparency, movement, and chromatic vibrations, where color becomes gesture, emotion, and memory. Suspended between the visible and the imaginary, the artworks evoke fluid and poetic atmospheres inspired by water, light, and inner landscapes.
In the critical text by Amedeo Anelli, watercolor is described as an intense and immediate technique capable of transforming the painted surface into a space of sensitivity, energy, and expressive freedom.
The exhibition offered visitors an evocative artistic journey, where the delicacy of water and the strength of the painterly gesture meet in a continuous dialogue between matter, emotion, and imagination.
In the evocative setting of the city of Siena, the initiative
"Siena enchants, history flows, art blossoms" took place on April 25, 2026 — an event dedicated to celebrating art, culture, and the timeless beauty of the Sienese territory.
Inside the prestigious Loggia dei Nove, four watercolor artists belonging to AIA participated in a collective watercolor exhibition, presenting works inspired by the light, landscapes, and atmosphere of Tuscany.
At the end of the event, each artist was presented with a commemorative plaque as a sign of recognition and gratitude for their valuable contribution to the event and to the promotion of watercolor art.
